It is officially spring in my kitchen when I make this jam. Thick pieces of rhubarb with chopped fresh local ginger from my friends at Shalefield Organic Gardens. A beautiful spicy jam for those still cold morning..

Pairings

Traditional Partners: cream cheese, apricot scones, buttered toast

Unexpected Partners: ice cream and rhubarb jam with caramel, with roasted pork
